. inspections, is provided in response to a verbal request from the NRC Project Manager for Pilgrim Station. The report consists of a comprehensive summary of our responses to Generic Letter 84-11/IGSCC and the requested weld matrices. These matrices are presented on Tables 1 and 2 of the enclosure.
Table 1 contains a summary of the current mitigation status of Class 1 piping welds and Table 2 presents the inspection statistics for IGSCC susceptible welds at Pilgrim.
In our September 22, 1986 submittal (Reference 2) we noted that we would inform you of changes made to our program. As indicated in the enclosed report, we have added two welds (12-I-16 and RPV-N98-1) to our RF0 7 inspection list.
Also, your letter dated January 2, 1986 (Reference 1) requested that we submit our plans for an IGSCC augmented inspection program "so that any NRC comments can be reso!ved without affecting the outage schedule." The enclosed information will assist you in your review of our IGSCC augmented inspection program.
Our current outage schedule calls for IGSCC augmented inspections to be completed by July 1, 1987. Please provide your comments by June 15, 1987, so that we can resolve them without affecting the outage schedule.
