Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit Nos.1,2 and 3 Semiannual Radioactive Effluents Release Report In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.36a and the Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications, a copy of the Semiannual Radioactive Effluents Release Report is herewith submitted.

This report includes a summary of the quantities of solid-radioactive waste, and liquid & gaseous effluents for the period of July - December,1986. An Annual Radioactive Effluents Dose Report (to be submitted in March,1987) will include an assessment of the radiation doses due to the radioactive liquid and gaseous effluents released during the previous calendar year (January - December,1986).

Due to unavoidable delays in sample analysis, results for Sr-89, Sr-90, Fe-55, and gross alpha for the last quarter of 1986 are incomplete. These results will be forwarded as soon as they become available.

The report has been prepared in accordance with the format of Regulatory Guide 1.21 and copies of the report are being forwarded in accord.ince with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.4(b)(2)(viii).

Sample analyses delays from our contracted lab facilities due to the excess sample load from the Chernobyl incident had caused the results for Fe-55, SR-89, Sr-90, and gross alpha to be incomplete for the January - June,1986 report.

These updated tables are included with this report as Appendix A.
