Attached is Licensee Event Report (LER) 99-005-00 for Waterford Steam Electric Station Unit 3. This report provides details of the discovery of untested electrical contacts in safety related logic circuits. The condition was identified while performing ,
a corrective measure review reported in LER 97-029 Revision 00, associated with l other, earlier identified untested contacts. The condition was inappropriately I earmarked for reporting as a revision to LER 97-029-00 and as a result was not '
reported within 30 days. The reporting delay was discussed with NRC Region IV I personnel. The reporting discrepancy is being addressed in the Waterford 3 Corrective Action Program.
