Gentlemen:

Entergy Operations, Inc.'s letter W3F1-98-0086, dated May 1,1998, gave notification that the proposed schedule for the Waterford 31999 annual exerc . 's the week of -l October 13,1999. At that time, the logistics for the associated Exe...se Objectives Meeting had not been finalized. The purpose of this letter is to formally provide the i date, time and location of the Exercise Objectives Meeting. A verbal notification of I this information was previously provided to representatives of both the NRC and FEMA staffs.

The Exercise Objective Meeting has been scheduled for May 13,1999, at 10:00 a.m.

at the St. John the Baptist Parish Emergency Operations Center. This meeting is intended to facilitate discussion of the 1999 exercise objectives prior to submittal to the NRC and FEMA. Representatives of the State of Louisiana, St. Charles and St. John the Baptist Parishes, and Entergy Operations, Inc. are planning to attend. It is desirable to have the appropriate NRC and FEMA representatives also in attendance.
