Dear Sir:
Boston Edison has reviewad the subject letter and has developed a plan which will modify our station policy regarding Item I.C.6. Our re-evaluation in-cludes a review of NUREG 0737 I.C.6 guidance and ANSI /ANS 3.2 - 1982. Sec. 5.2.6.
Accordingly, the policy should conform to the guidelines of I.C.6 considering ALARA and personnel resource requirements. In cases where the guidelines of I.C.6 are not adopted by station policy, justification will be provided.~
Based on this plan, our scheduled date for a Station Policy is March 21, 1983.
Our plan for corrective action to the station procedures will be submitted by May 13, 1983. This delay is based on our inability to determine the impact of changes to the procedures at this time.
