. Surveillance Technical Specification
Dear Sir:
Pursuant to 10CFR2.107, it is requested that the Technical Specification change proposed by letter dated September 12, 1983 (BEco 83-238), concerning control rod drive weekly surveillance testing at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station be withdrawn from consideration. Further consnunication with the General Electric Company has determined that the proposed alternative weekly exercise is acceptable only for control rod drives with improved collet retainer tubes. Because not all control rod drives at Pilgrim have the improved collet retainer tubes, it is requested that this propoced change be withdrawn at this time.
