This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted by

W. M. Sartor on May 22-24, 1989. The inspection included a review of

activities authorized for 'your Bruh. wick facility. At the conclusion of the

inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff j

identified in the enclosed inspection report.  !

Areas ex6 mined during the inspection. are identified in the report. Within

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures

and . representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of. j

activities in progress. 1

identified, i

Your attention is directed towards the' licensee- identified deficiency in

Paragraph 6 : and discussed with licensee representatives as referenced in

Paragraph 6. In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, .

Paragraph IV.F.5, that all deficiencies shall be corrected, please provide a

written summary of the corrective actions taken or planned in response to the ,

deficiency within 30 days of the date of this report. Your attention is also I

directed to.the exercise weakness identified in Paragraph 2; to which your l

corrective actions will be reviewed during future exercises. J

'In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,

Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure

will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
