This refers to the inspection conducted on October 26-30,1998, at the Brunswick facility. The
enclosed report presents the results of this inspection.

' Areas examined during the inspection were identified in the report. Within these areas, the

inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures, and representative records,

interviews with personnel, and observation of activities in progress. The purpose of the
inspection was to determine whether activities authorized by the licensee were conducted
safely and in accordance with NRC requirements.

Within the scope of the inspection, violations or deviations were not identified.

Part 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the
