. DOCKET NO. 50-412 BEAVER VALLEY POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 2 AMENDMENT TO FACILITY CONSTRUCTION PERMIT Amendment No. 2 Construction Permit No.: CPPR-105

1. The Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has found that:

A. The application for amendment filed by Duquesne Light Company on behalf of itself and the other utilities listed above, dated February 24, 1984, and supplemental letters dated May 31, July 16 and November 5, 1984, and July 9, 1985 complies with the standards

. and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and the Comission's regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B. 'TheIsuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the comon defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and C. The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with the 10 CFR Part 51 of the Comission's regulations, and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.

2.- Accordingly, Construction Permit No. CPPR-105 is amended as follows:

A. Change paragraph 3.C.to read:

C. This construction permit authorizes the applicant to construct the facility described in the application and in the hearing record, in accordance with the principal architectural and a

2 engineering criteria (except to the extent modified by the exemption granted on October 11,1985) and environmental protection comitments set forth therein.

3.. This amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
