Proposed Operating License Change Request Nos. 226 and 98 l
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Duquesne Light Company requests an amendment to the above licenses in the form of changes to the technical specifications. The proposed amendment would revise Table 3.3-3 Functional Unit 4.c, and Specification 3/4.5.5 and associated Bases Section for Unit No.1 only. The Bases section for Specification 3/4.5.4 would be revised for Unit No. 2 only. An implementation period of 60 days is requested following the effective date of the amendment.
The proposed technical specification changes for Unit No.1 and Unit No. 2 are presented in Attachments A-1 and A-2, respectively. The safety analysis (including the i
no significant hazards evaluation) is presented in Attachment B.
This change has been reviewed by the Onsite Safety Committee and Offsite Review Committee. The change was detennined to be safe and does not involve a significant hazard consideration as defined in 10 CFR 50.92 based on the attached safety analysis.
