Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Duquesne Light Company requests an amendment to the above licenses in the form of changes to the technical specifications. The proposed change revises Engineered Safety Feature Actuation System Instrumentation Table 3.3-3, Action 34 and associated Bases section.

The proposed technical specification changes for Unit No. I and Unit No. 2 are l presented in Attachments A-1 and A-2, respectively. The safety analysis (including the j no significant hazards evaluation)is presented in Attachment B.

This change has been reviewed by the Beaver Valley review comm.ittees. The l change was determined to be safe and does not involve a significant hazard consideration i as defined in 10 CFR 50.92 based on the attached safety analysis. 1 An implementation period of up to 60 days is requested following the effective date .
