Issuance of Amendment to fonstruction Pemit for Beaver Valley Power Station Unit 2 The Nuclear Regulatory Comission (APC) has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 2 to Construction Pemit CPPR-105 for the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2, located in Shippingport, Pennsylvania. The amendment is in response to your letters dated February 24, May 31, July 16, and November 5, 1984, and Ju?y 9, 1985.

Th? amendment modifies the construction pemit to reflect issuance, by the NRC, of a schedular Exemption dated October 11, 1985. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.

A copy of the safety evaluation supporting Amendment No. 2 is enclosed.

Also enclosed is a copy of a related notice which has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
