Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. I and No. 2 BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. NPF-73 .

Proposed Operating License Change Request Nos. 233 and 105 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Duquesne Light Company requests an amendment to the above licenses in the form of changes to the technical specifications. The proposed changes will revise Surveillance Requirements 4.1.2.3.1,4.1.2.4.1,4.5.2.b,4.6.2.1.b and associated Bases sections. Index pages would be revised to reflect the shifting of text due to the addition of wording to the Bases sections. In addition, minor editorial changes have been included in this request for amendment. An implementation period of 60 days is requested following the effective date of this amendment.

The proposed technical specification changes for Unit No. I and Unit No. 2 are presented in Attachments A-1 and A-2, respectively. The safety analysis (including the no significant hazards evaluation) is presented in Attachment B.

l This change has been reviewed by the Onsite Safety Committee and Offsite Review l

Committee. The change was determined to be safe and does not involve a significant hazard consideration as defined in 10 CFR 50.92 based on the attached safety analysis.
