Docket Nos. 50-443-OL/50-444

Dear Judge Smith:

I want to advise you, the other members of the panel, and the other parties that our office hopes to be able in the near future to put both our SpMC contentions (filed April 13, 1988) and our proposed Findings of Fact (filed May 19, 1988) into a computer disc in a format which the NRC computers can read. Our computer consultant met with NRC staff last week in Washington, and I believe he now understands what needs to be done to convert our Wang-created documents to your format. We will provide you with the discs at the earliest opportunity, and we will be happy to provide copies to any of the other parties upon their request.

I am also enclosing a corrected cover page and Table of Contents for our proposed Findings of Fact and Rulings of Law. The page numbers provided on the previous Table of Contents were in error.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Very truly yours, 8806080052 080525 Allan R. Fierce PDR ADOCK 05000443 G PDR Assistant Attorney General Nuclear Safety Unit (617) 727-1090 ARF /BT Enclosures cc: Service List D S c) 3
