1. MOTION OF MASSACHUSETTS ATTORNEY GENERAL JAMES M. SHANtlON UNDER 10 C.F.R. S 2.347 TO REOPEN THE RECORD TO CONSIDER EVIDENCE CONCERNING THE JOINT APPLICANTS' DECOMMISSIONING PLAN FOR THE SEABROOK NUCLEAR POWER STATION AND TO ADMIT THE ATTACHED LATE FILED CONTENTIONS CONCERNING SAID DECOMMISSIONING PLAN; and
2. MOTION OF MASSACHUSETTS ATTORNEY GENERAL JAMES M. SHANNON TO REOPEN THE RECORD TO CONSIDER EVIDENCE CONCERNIN3 THE JOINT APPLICANTS' FINANCIAL QUALIFICATIONS TO OPERATE THE SEABROOVs HUCLEAR POWER STATION AND TO ADMIT THE ATTACHED LATE-FILED CONTENTIONS CONCERNING SAID FINANCIAL QUALIFIATIONS.

The filing of the first of these two documents is made in response to the direction given by the Commission in CLI-88-07. The filing of the second of the documents is made, notwithstanding the fact that the Commission has not yet acted upon the rule waiver petition certified to it by the Appeal Board in ALAB-895, in an effort to place all of the financial issues concerning the licensure of the Seabrook Nuclear Power Station before the Commission so that they may be considered in as expeditious and officient manner as possible.
