Dear Sir:

The following additional information to Reference 1 is provided in accordance with Reference 2.

We are including three additional Draft pages to further illustrate design features of the new incore instrument support structure. Page 107:4a is a cutaway of the reactor vessel showing the new structure in i its installed position. Page 107:4b is a general view of the structure I by itself. This page was submitted in our Proposed Change No. 114 as l Figure 1. We are now su'  : ting it to be page 107:4b of the FHSR.

Page 107:Sa is a composice of pages 107:5 and 107:6 submitted in our Supplement No. 1, dated May 3, 1974. This page shows a typical head seal and instrument column drawn to a common reference line.

The incore instrument support structure head seal arrangement illustrated on these pages is similar to that used on current generating Westinghouse plants as described in Reference 3. The head seals are rated at 4000 psig, 650 F and are consistent with the reactor vessel design pressure and temperature.
