Request for Withdrawal of Proposed Change to Yankee Nuclear Power Station's Defueled Technical Specifications In Reference (b), Yankee Atomic Electric Company (YAEC) requested a change to Yankee Nuclear Power Station's Defueled Technical Specifications which would transfer the requirements currently in Sections 6.7 and 6.9 of the Defueled Technical Specifications to the Yankee Decommissioning Quality Assurance Program. Because another proposed change to the Defueled Technical Specifications (Reference (c))

currently under review by the NRC would require modifications to Section 6.7, we are concerned that there might be a potential for some confusion in the review and approval process. Therefore, to simplify and expedite the review and approval of the proposed change in Reference (c), at this time we respectfully request that the change proposed in O
