On March 6, 1982, your office was informed that the IB steam generator had an indicated tube leak of 0.08 gal / min. This constitutes an abnormal degrada-tion of the reactor coolant pressure boundary. Reportable Occurrence Report R0-269/82-06 providing details of this incident was to have been submitted to you by March 19, 1982, pursuant to Technical Specification 6.6.2.1.a(3) .

On March 19, 1982 a delay was requested until April 2, 1982 to allow addi-tional time to investigate this incident. This investigation is still under-way, but will be completed and the report submitted to you no later than April 16, 1982.
