SUMMARY

I Month: August, 1987 j

Oconee Unit 2 began the month of August operating at:86% power, limited by high i

level'in the "B"' Steam Generator. The unit reduced power to 71% at 0008 on 8/06 i due to. low upper oil level on the "2B2" Reactor Coolant Pump.- The. unit remained j i

at 71% power until 0002 on 8/12, at which time a power decrease was begun in I order to remove the unit from service to add oil to the "2B2" Reactor Coolant Pump. The unit returned to service at 0256 on 8/13 and reached 86% power at  ;

i 0600 on 8/14. On'8/27,Ea feedwater swing caused a reduction in power to 83%,  !

from 1109 to 1230. The unit then returned to 85% power, limited by high level  !

in the "B" Steam Generator, where it operated for the remainder of the month.
