1 By letter dated November 2, 1987 Duke Power Company (Duke) provided a Special 5-Day Report concerning the degradation of more than one functional unit of the Emergency Power Switching Logic (EPSL) for Units 2 and 3.
The Licensee Event Report (LER 269/87-09) describing the incident is due to be submitted to your office by November 25, 1987.
The report is in preparation and will be submitted by Decembec 15, 1987.
