In Reference (1) the subject I.E. Bulletin was transmitted to Northeast Nuclear Energy Company with app 9priate action requested. A summary of the results of the investigation can be found in Attachment i entitled Status of Investigation into NRC I.E. Bulletin 79-03. Please note that investigation is continuing on items 4 and 5 of the attachment. We expect to be able to transmit the results of this continuing investigation by July 15, 1979.

- 3) Tubeco, Inc. (M-150) Various - Safety Related Although substantial quantities of welded pipe Systems from Youngstown Welding and Engineering Company has been or will be used in the fabrication of Unit 3 safety-related pipe spools, all of the material invalved have had 100% x-ray of the longitudinal seam weld and therefore are con-sidered acceptable.
- 4) Southwest Fabrication Various - Safety Related Still under investigation. We will report to and Welding Company Systems the NRC as soon as this information is available.
