Gentlemen:

Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 I&E Bulletin No. 80-16 Potential Misapplication of Rosemount, Incorporated, Models 1151 and 1152 Pressure Transmitters Reference (1) transmitted the subject I&E Bulletin to Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) requesting appropriate action.

A review of Millstone Unit No. 3 saf ety-related systems shows that the Rosemount, Incorporated, Models 1151 and 1152 pressure transmitters with either "A" or "D" output codes in question have not been used a'nd are not planned for use in any Millstone Unit No. 3 equipment.

In assisting you in evaluating the value/ impact of this Bulletin, it is estimated that approximately ten (10) man-hours were expended in the review and preparation of correspondence required by this Bulletin.
