DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL IN LIQUID AND GASEOUS EFFLUENTS POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 Enclosed herewith is the draft copy of effluent data for Point Beach Nuclear Plant during calendar year 1978 as transmitted by Mr. R. A. Hartfield's letter of October 6, 1980.
Appropriate corrections and additions have been indicated directly on the data sheets.
Since our Technical Specification reporting requirements do not require data reporting wholly amenable to the new format, we would prefer the format previously used in NUREG-0521 and NU REG-0 3 6 7 . These earlier formats were more adaptable to various forms of plant records. In addition, we believe an annual summary to be more useful for plant-by-plant comparisons than the overly detailed quarterly approach. Finally, we recommend that nuclides be listed in order of increasing mass number, rather than alphabetically, since this would afford a natural pairing of parent-daughters and a natural grouping of similar nuclides.
