Re: Fwd: Government to Government Meeting for Vermont Yankee License Renewal Sounds great Chip, but can we do it as government to government with the Windham Council. Robert Bores and John Wray have already volunteered to help put something together, but this would expedite the schedule if it could be done as a governement to government meeting.Johnny>>> Francis Cameron 02/06/06 9:28 AM >>>Johnny -in the process of arranging the "coffees" with the citizens groups, I have been in touch with Jim Matteau who is the Executive Director of the Wyndam (?) Regional Commission.

He (by voice mail) may join us for our sessions with the citizen groups. However, he also asked if we would be interested in attending their monthly meeting on the evening of February 28th (the night before our public meeting).

He already has speakers etc. for that meeting but is willing to postpone them until March and have us on instead. I don't know much about the regional Commission but apparently it's members are from local governments throughout the state. I will be calling him back today (Monday the 6th) and if you think attending their meeting is a good idea -sounds good -let me know.Chip>>> Johnny Eads 02/03/06 6:52 AM >>>FYI, I am in the early planning stages of trying to set a meeting with State and local officials near VY in the State of Massachusetts.

Since we cannot visit every town individually, I am approaching the Franklin Regional Council of Governments which coordinates joint activities with local governments in the area. I will keep you informed of progress in this area, but again we are only in the early stages of making contact.Johnny CC: Frank Gillespie; Jacob Zimmerman; John Wray; Jonathan Rowley; Pao-Tsin Kuo;Robert Bores; Rosetta Virgilio; Sheri Minnick c:\tenip\GW)OOOO1 .TMP Page 1 t~cAteMp\GW)00001-.TMP
