RENEWAL APPLICATION (TAC NO. MC9669)
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff conducted a conference call with Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., (Entergy or the applicant) regarding the Pilgrim license renewal
application (LRA) to discuss neutron fluence. The conference call was conducted on Monday, February 26, 2007, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD
20852. The list of participants is shown in the enclosure. The following is a summary of the
conference call.
The NRC Pilgrim Project Manager provided a brief introduction and then discussions regarding neutron fluence began. The staff described to the applicant information that may soon be
requested from the applicant in a Request for Additional Information (RAI). The RAI pertains to
the applicant's neutron embrittlement time-limited aging analyses (TLAAs) and an Aging
Management Plan.
The applicant had an opportunity to comment on the meeting summary.
