OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO.50-335 UNIT St.Lucie 1 NQ 1 4)990 COMPLETED BY J.J.Breen TELEPHONE 407 465-3550 REPORT MONTH OCTOBER 1990 From October 27, 1990, to October 28, 1990, Unit 1 downpowered then went off line due to control rod testing.On October 28, 1990, after control rod testing was complete, Unit 1 was held off line due to a problem with a turbine control valve.Then on October 29, 1990, Unit 1 started back up but was held at 40>due to nuclear delta temperature calibration.

As of October 29, 1990, Unit 1 was back up to 1004 power operation.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
