COMPLETION OF REVIEW OF ITEM 1.2 POST TRIP REVIEW - DATA AND INFORMATION CAPABILITY, OF GENERIC LETTER 83-28 FOR JOSEPH M.

FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 By letter dated November 4,1983 you responded to Generic Letter (GL) 83-28 j with regard to required licensee actions based on generic implications of i the Salem ATWS events. We have completed our review based upon the draft Technical Evaluation Report (TER) provided by our consultant, Science Applications International Corporation. The TER was provided to you by our  ;

letter dated May 10, 1985.  !

Subsequently, we held telephone conferences with your staff. These j conferences resulted in your confinnatory letter dated June 4,1985. On the basis of the enclosed Safety Evaluation we conclude that the actions

which you have taken are acceptable. Therefore, Item 1.2 of GL 83-28 is i complete for Farley Units 1 and 2.
