Dear Mr. Morey:

Your March 12,1998, letter requested that we approve and issue the Farley, Units 1 and 2 Improved Standard Technical Specifications (ITS) by September 30,1999. We previously targeted August 30,1999, as the date we expected to issue them. We reassessed our ITS schedule and determined that September 30,1999, is our new target date for issuing the Farley ITS. Our new target date now agrees with your requested date. Please contact me if you have any questions.
