SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-348/99-09 AND 50-364/99-09

Dear Mr. Morey:

This refers to the inspection conducted on March 8-10,1999, at the Farley facility. The

enclosed report presents the results of this inspection. 1

Based on the results of this inspection, one apparent violation of NRC requirements was

identified. A Notice of Violation is presently not being issued for this inspection finding, and

you will be advised by separate correspondence of the results of our deliberations on this i

matter. No response regarding the apparent violation is required at this time. In addition,  !

please be advised that the characterization of the apparent violation described in the

inspection report may change as a result of further NRC review.

The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards information as defined by

10 CFR Part 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthonzed individuals is prohibited by Section 147

of the Atomic Energy Act 1954, as amended Therefore, the matetial will not be placed in the i

Public Document Room. '
