SUBJECTi J. M. FARLEY REQUALIFICATION EXAMINATION REPORT 348/0L-89-01 The NRC administered examinations during the' weeks of June 19 and June 26, 1989, to employees of your company who currently hold licenses to operate the J. M.. Farley Nuclear Plant.
At the c.onclusion of the site visit, preliminary findings were discussed with those menbers of your staff identified in the Examination Report, Enclosure 1.

. validity of some questions' in - the written examinations are contained. in 3.
Copies of' the written examinations and answer keys are included in this-report as Enclosure 4..
A requalification program: evaluation report is included as Erclosure 5.
This evaluation report finds that the J. M. Farley requalification program remains satisfactory.
Your attention is-invited to information in the examination and evaluation reports which describes our concern.over operator performance and exam--
administration.
These concerns will be discussed at a management meeting to be held at the NRC Region II office on July'31, 1989.
A Simulator Fidelity Report is provided in this report as Enclosure 6.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and Enclosures 1, 3, 4, 5' and. 6 will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room. is exempt from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(a) and will not be sent i
