Dear Mr. Ahearne:

In a recent meeting with one of your very competent per-sonnel in Lebanon, Pennsylvania -- Mr. John Collins indicated that it would be possible to meet with the commissioners to discuss the TMI situation in a face-to-face meeting. We have. very specific and attainable objectives with respect to solving some rate payer problems that we believe are of

 .       great importance to you. The rate payers -- both industrial and residential -- are very much concerned and frustrated in the present situation.

I have appeared before several government panels to tsstify as to the severity of our problems, but until now I have been unable to get closer to our objective. Mr. Collins has indicated that letter requests, such as these, could estab-lish the means whereby we could appear to one or more of the commissioners to present our thoughts and recommendations. Will you please advise when we may meet with any or all of your commissioners -- so that these very important alternatives may be more intelligently presented and discussed. i Sincere /ly yours,
