                          ' telephone conversation between Mr.;D. Shaffer of your staff and Mr.. A. S. Gautam of my staff. The inspection will be. performed by a six member inspection team                -
with Mr.- A. S~ Gautam of the Region III office as lead inspector.
The following areas will be inspected:
fImplementation of corrective action commitments addressed in the final Callaway_EQ Safety Evaluation Report.
                                      ~ Compliance to EQ regulations of.10 CFR 50.49, including Program Procedures, Master Equipment List,' Maintenance, Procurement, Upgrading of Replacement Equipment, Quality As:urance and Employee Training.
                                      . Adequacy of equipment-qualification files, including responses to relevant NRC Information Notices and Bulletins.
Installation and maintenance of selected plant EQ equipment.
c A management entrance meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m."on May 4,1987, at                  ,
the plant site. A plant walkdown inspection of selected EQ equipment is scheduled for May 6, 1987, and an NRC exit meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

Your cooperation with us during this inspection will be appreciated. In particular please arrange to have all inspectors escorted as visitors to avoid delays due to fonnal radiation training.
