Breen TELEPHONE  407  465-3550 REPORT MONTH  OCTOBER  1990 From October 27, 1990, to October 28, 1990, Unit 1 downpowered then went  off line due to  control rod testing. On October 28, 1990, after control rod testing was complete, Unit 1 was held off line due to a problem with a turbine control valve. Then on October 29, 1990, Unit 1 started back up but was held at 40> due to nuclear delta temperature calibration. As of October 29, 1990, Unit 1 was back up to 1004 power operation.
In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.

On October 28, 1990, after control rod testing was complete, Unit 1 was held off line due to a problem with a turbine control valve. Then on October 29, 1990, Unit 1 started back up but was held at 40> due to nuclear delta temperature calibration. As of October 29, 1990, Unit 1 was back up to 1004 power operation.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
