Carolina Power R Light Company provides thirteen (13) copies of Revision 0 to th'e Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP) Emergency Plan. Three (3) copies are being sent directly to the Region II Regional Administrator, Dr. 3. Nelson Grace, by copy of this letter.

The changes made in Revision 0 to the SHNPP Emergency Plan primarily include:

1. Changes to reflect lessons learned from the table top drills conducted in preparation for the Emergency Exercise that was held May 17-18, 1985.

2. Changes to make the Emergency Plan consistent with the Plant Emergency Procedures.

l. Remove, but do not yet discard the entire contents of the Emergency Plan binder.

2. Separate and save the following pages from the existing Revision 3 copy that you just removed from the binder:

All index tabs (1 through 7 and A through B) and two plastic pockets (for Figures O.l-l and 0.1-2)

Figure 1.5-1 Figure 1.5-2 Figure 1.8-2 Figure 1.8-3 I Figure 6.2-1 All agreement letters in Appendix A Figure G-1 Figure G-2 Figure G-0 Annex H

3. Discard all remaining pages of Revision 3.

0. Before placing the new Revision 0 into the binder, insert the pages that you have saved from Revision 3 into Revision 0 at the following appropriate places:
