Dear Sir or Madam:

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.74(b), Carolina Power Ec Light Company (CP8cL) provides notification that a Senior Reactor Operator licensed on the Harris Nuclear Plant has terminated employment with CP8.L. The name, docket number, and license number for the individual is included in the enclosure to this letter. Effective April 1, 1999, the individual's license is no longer required and CP&L requests that it be terminated.

CPAL requests that the information contained in the enclosure be exempt from public disclosure under the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790(a)(6) since disclosure would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
