Dear Mr. Denton:

On December 23, 1985 (above reference), we indicated that there was an effort underway to modify the qualification packages for the environmental qualification of electrical equipment. Specifically, the packages were to be modified to include a positive statement in each package to indicate that the equipment is qualified for its application and to change the use of short test times combined with post-accident test times of longer duration to qualify equipment for long term post-accident operability. This letter is to inform you that the effort has been completed and the packages have been modified. Therefore, we consider the concern closed.
