DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 FIRE PROTECTION MODIFICATIONS POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 The Point Beach Nuclear Plant Fire Protection Safety Evaluation Report, Item 3.12, states that additional fire detectors will be installed in various plant areas.
We have reviewed the guidance of Draft Regulatory Guide 1.120, Underwriters Laboratories Standards and National Fire Protection Association Standards. We have also had discussions with several fire detection system installers. Using this guidance we have developed a plan for locating fire detectors which we consider to be suitable.
