50-335 St.Lucie 51 August 14, 1995 J.A.ROGERS (407)468-4157 REPORT MONTH On July 8 Unit 1 tripped during the performance of the turbine valve surveillance test.The unit remained offline to correct a problem at the ocean discharge and returned to full power operation July 12.In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, notice is given that during the automatic trip of July 8, the Power Operated Relief Valves (PORVs)did lift and successfully reseat.The length of time the signal was present (as shown on the Sequence of Events Recorder)was less than 4 seconds.

The unit remained offline to correct a problem at the ocean discharge and returned to full power operation July 12.
