Dear Mr. Denton:

Carolina Power R Light Company (CPRL) hereby submits additional information concerning on shift operating experience at the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant. As discussed in our letter dated October 16, 1986, CPRL initiated actions to qualify an additional person (Mr. K. Kyser) with six months hot operating experience. Mr. Kyser has 0.5 months of hot experience at the CPRL H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant (HBR) and returned to HBR on October 20, 1986 to work on shift to accumulate an additional 200 hours0.00231 days <br />0.0556 hours <br />3.306878e-4 weeks <br />7.61e-5 months <br /> of hot shift experience. The purpose of this letter is to notify your staff that Mr. Kyser has now completed his assignment at HBR and now has a total of six months on shift hot participation experience. Mr. Kyser is now fully qualified and will provide the required on shift experience for power levels greater than five percent of full power.
