License Renewal Tentative Govt to Govt Mtgs around VY I just wanted to give you a quick heads up on some early planning for government to government outreach meetings for the VY license renewal.In Vermont, the plant sits in Windham County and although we have met with officials from the towns of Vernon and Brattleboro, we have not had an opportunity to brief other nearby town governments or members of the State legislature.

We have made contact with the Windham Regional Commission which represents local town governments and legislators around VY. We have a tentative briefing meeting set for the evening of Tuesday, March 14 to brief representatives of local governments on the NRC's license renewal process and to answer questions they may have.In Massachusetts, the county that most closely borders the plant is Franklin County. We have made contact with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments and have a tentative meeting date of the evening of Thursday, March 23 to brief local government officials in Massachusetts on the renewal process and to answer questions.

We continue to need help in setting up outreach to local government officials in New Hampshire.

In particular, I would like to do one briefing for the staffs of State Senator Thomas Keene and State Representative Deb Hogancamp and William Nebelski, the chair of the Hinsdale Selectboard.

I thought of asking William Nebelski (802) 257-5256 from Hinsdale if he could coordinate.
