The applicant has committed to properly identify the above RHR pump and we find this to be acceptable.

However, we require the applicant to check other equipment to assure this condition does not exist elsewhere in the plant.RESPONSE Subsequent to the EICSB Audit, the RHR pump has been labeled.This equipment was tagged as part of the overall equipment labeling program being conducted in accordance with the Plant Program Procedure PLP-610,"Equipment Identification and Numbering System" (Enclosure I).This program will ensure that plant equipment will be properly labelled, The Plant Equipment Deficiency Program identified in Administrative Procedure, AP-038, will be used to identify missing equipment labels which had been previously installed.

NRC COMMENT During our audit of the battery rooms, we found that the showers in the battery rooms are not enclosed and are very close to the batteries, thereby creating the potential of shower spill causing damage to the batteries.

V/e require the applicant to either enclose the showers in battery rooms or provide justification for the existing design.RESPONSE The identified concern has been reviewed and the existing installation has been found acceptable.

This engineering review is documented in the enclosed Project Analysis E-5500,"Location of Battery Rooms SA and SB Eyewash Station and Shower" (Enclosure 2).(3980 JDK/cc j)

NRC COMMENT During our audit of the control room alarms provided for DC power systems, we found there was only one battery trouble alarm provided for both redundant trains (125V DC Emergency Bus A/B trouble).We require that a separate DC bus trouble alarm for each train be provided to facilitate quick trouble diagnosis of DC power systems.RESPONSE A second annunciator window will be added in the Main Control'oom and the Auxiliary Control Room to differentiate between 125V DC Emergency Bus A and Bus B trouble.The design modification required has been issued per the enclosed FCR-I-3378 (Enclosure 3).(3980JDK/ccj
