SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR FEBRUARY - 2004 A. UNIT 2 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY

On February 8, at approximately 0000 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br />, load was reduced to approximately 77% electrical output to perform turbine control valve testing and control rod pattern adjustments. The unit returned to full power operation at approximately 2100 hours0.0243 days <br />0.583 hours <br />0.00347 weeks <br />7.9905e-4 months <br />.

With the exception of short periods for routine maintenance, surveillances and the above occurrences, Unit 2 operated at full power throughout the remainder of the reporting period.

B. UNIT 3 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY

Unit 3 began the month of February off line from a shutdown that occurred in January. The unit was returned on line at approximately 1800 on February 2 and returned to full power operation at approximately 1400 hours0.0162 days <br />0.389 hours <br />0.00231 weeks <br />5.327e-4 months <br /> on February 4.

During power ascension, load was reduced to approximately 20% electrical output to repair a feedwater heater extraction steam relay that had failed.

On February 15, at approximately 0300 hours0.00347 days <br />0.0833 hours <br />4.960317e-4 weeks <br />1.1415e-4 months <br />, load was reduced to approximately 77% electrical output to perform control rod pattern adjustments. The unit returned to full power operation at approximately 1600 hours0.0185 days <br />0.444 hours <br />0.00265 weeks <br />6.088e-4 months <br />.

With the exception of short periods for routine maintenance, surveillances and the above occurrences, Unit 3 operated at full power throughout the remainder of the reporting period.
