SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR OCTOBER 2003 A. UNIT 2 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY

On September 30, 2003, at approximately 2013 hours0.0233 days <br />0.559 hours <br />0.00333 weeks <br />7.659465e-4 months <br /> the unit scrammed from a loss of one of the two operating reactor feed pumps. The unit responded as expected to the scram and did not return to service until October 2, 2003.

On October 2, 2003, at approximately 1845 hours0.0214 days <br />0.513 hours <br />0.00305 weeks <br />7.020225e-4 months <br /> the unit output breaker was closed and returned to reduced power while the 2C reactor feed pump and the planned maintenance on the 2B reactor feed pump was completed. At the completion of the planned maintenance, the unit shutdown for refuel outage D2R18 on October 14, 2003.

SUMMARY

Unit 3 operated at full power throughout the reporting period.
