OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR MARCH 2003 A. UNIT 2 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY

Unit 2 operated at full power throughout the reporting period with the exception of short periods for routine maintenance and surveillances.

B. UNIT 3 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY

On March 29, 2003, at approximately 0000 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br /> CST, a reactor power reduction was commended to repair a crack on the IA inboard Main Steam Isolation Valve pneumatic accumulator. On March 29, 2003, at approximately 0700 hours0.0081 days <br />0.194 hours <br />0.00116 weeks <br />2.6635e-4 months <br />, the turbine was taken off line, while the reactor remained critical. The Unit 3 turbine was placed back in service on March 30, 2003 at approximately 1046 hours0.0121 days <br />0.291 hours <br />0.00173 weeks <br />3.98003e-4 months <br />. Unit 3 power ascension continued until the end of the reporting period. On March 3 1, 2003, reactor power was approximately 62 percent.

With the exception of the above occurrence, Unit 3 operated at full power throughout the reporting period with the exception of short periods for routine maintenance and surveillances.
