SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR DECEMBER 2002 A.
UNIT 2 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE
SUMMARY
On December 13, 2002, Unit 2 power was reduced to approximately 70 percent rated thermal power in order to perform maintenance on the control rod drive system. On December 17, 2002, the unit was returned to full power.
With the exception of the above, Unit 2 operated at full power throughout the reporting period with the exception of short periods for routine maintenance and surveillances.
B.
UNIT 3 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE
SUMMARY
On December 7, 2002, Unit 3 was shutdown to repair a leaking Reactor Recirculation Water pump flow sensing line. The unit returned to service on December 11, 2002, and achieved full power on December 20, 2002.
With the exception of the above, Unit 3 operated at full power throughout the reporting period with the exception of short periods for routine maintenance and surveillances.
