SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR AUGUST 2003 A. UNIT 2 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY

On August 10, 2003, at approximately 0300 hours0.00347 days <br />0.0833 hours <br />4.960317e-4 weeks <br />1.1415e-4 months <br />, load was reduced to approximately 87 percent electrical output to perform a control rod pattern adjustment. The Unit was returned to full power operation on August 10, 2003, at approximately 0900 hours0.0104 days <br />0.25 hours <br />0.00149 weeks <br />3.4245e-4 months <br />.

On August 24, 2003, at approximately 0200 hours0.00231 days <br />0.0556 hours <br />3.306878e-4 weeks <br />7.61e-5 months <br />, load was reduced to approximately 91 percent electrical output to perform turbine control valve testing. The Unit was returned to full power operation on August 24, 2003, at approximately 0700 hours0.0081 days <br />0.194 hours <br />0.00116 weeks <br />2.6635e-4 months <br />.

With the exception of short periods for routine maintenance, surveillances and the above occurrence, Unit 2 operated at full power throughout the remainder of the reporting period.

B. UNIT 3 MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY

On August 16, 2003, at approximately 0200 hours0.00231 days <br />0.0556 hours <br />3.306878e-4 weeks <br />7.61e-5 months <br />, load was reduced to approximately 75 percent electrical output to perform a control rod pattern adjustment. The Unit was returned to full power operation on August 17, 2003, at approximately 0000 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br />.

With the exception of short periods for routine maintenance, surveillances and the above occurrence, Unit 3 operated at full power throughout the remainder of the reporting period.
