Letter from J.A. Benjamin (Exelon Generation Company, LLC), to U.S. NRC, "Request for Amendment to Technical Specifications to Eliminate Requirements to Provide Monthly Operating Reports and Annual Occupational Radiation Exposure Reports," date October 21, 2004.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 20.2206, "Reports of individual monitoring," paragraph (c), the Annual Dose Report covering the previous year shall be submitted on or before April 30th of each year. The Annual Dose Report for 2022 provides the results of individual radiation monitoring carried out by Dresden Nuclear Power Station (DNPS) for each individual for whom radiation monitoring was provided during 2022. The data file containing this report was submitted electronically via the Radiation Exposure and Information Reporting System (REIRS) internet webpage on April 5, 2023.

JI'--/ 5 5 Additionally, in accordance with our regulatory commitment submitted in the referenced letter, the required information for apportionment of radiation dose between the operating units and the shutdown unit is provided. Between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 a total of 3,570 individuals were monitored for occupational exposure to ionizing radiation at DNPS.

The total collective TEDE for the individuals monitored was 115.855 rem. Of the 2022 DNPS total site exposure, 115.668 rem is associated with operating units (Units 2 and 3) acti~ities and 0.187 rem is associated the non-operating unit (Unit 1) activities. Of the 3,570 individuals who were monitored for exposure to ionizing radiation at DNPS, approximately 44 of these

  • individuals performed activities that were directly related to Unit 1.
