River Bend Station'- Unit I Docket No. 50-458-This letter withdraws five previously proposed license amendments to the River Bend Station Technical Specifications.' The proposed license amendments were requested to extend surveillance intervals for the attached listing of Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements until the first refueling outage scheduled to begin September 15, 1987.
On June 18, 1987 River Bend Station entered an unscheduled outage.- At the end of this outage, Gulf States Utilities (GSU) has .successfully performed approximately 40 percent'of the thirteen proposed changes and, therefore, no longer requires the requested revisions. The attached.
information provides the submittal dates and attachment numbers for the five respective proposed technical specification changes which are being withdrawn. ,
