C. 20553 Gentloment RIVER BISO STATION - (NIT 1 DOCIGT No. 50-458 On July 12, 1990, representatives from Gulf States Utilities Otznpany (GSU) met with Ms. C. M. Abbate and Messrs. D. B. Pieno and J. H. Wilson of the NRC to discuss two forthecxning GSU subnittals, a Reactor Physics Methods Report and a Reactor Transient Analysis Methods Report. Approval of these reports by the NRC will provide GSU with full reload design capability, with the exception of IDCA analysis, and will allow GSU to perfonn many analyses otherwise performed by NSSS vendors or other consultants.

'Ihe purpose of this letter is to provide to the NRC the schedule for subnittal of these reports and other analyses that utilize the methodolcgies of these reports and to request a Nhc review schedule consistent with this subnittal schedule. The schedule is provided as an attachment to this letter.
