Hydraulic Instabilities in BWRs." This documents completion of the reporting requirements /

l contained in the generic letter. The initial RBS response to the generic letter was submitted /

in EOI's letter dated September 12,1994 (see Reference 2), and included the selected solution for addressing the concerns.

' inh--A Option I-A." Changes i to the plant Technical Specifications followed NEDO-32?39-A, Supplement 4, " Reactor Stability Long Term Solution: EnhancM Option L A Generic Technical Specifications." EOI submitted proposed Technical Specification changes to the NRC on October 8,1998 (see l Reference 3) and the NRC approved these in amendment 106, dated May 5,1999, to the RBS Operating License (see Reference 4).

Design changes, Technican Specificatiora changes, associated training, and procedural changes implementing the complete EIA solution, as contained in NEDO-32339, Revision 1, including i

Supplements 1 through 4, have been completed. Additionally, RBS successfully completed a plant startup from Refueling Outage 8 using the EIA stability solution.  !
